Doctor in Geopolitics, Marion left the diplomacy and International cooperation sector to create the school which she dreamed of for her children. Since 2012 she has been passionate about child education and new modes

Consultant

Clare, Consultant (Head Teacher from 2012 to 2018) joined l’écoline at the time of its creation. Both as an Educational Director and Teacher in School 1 & 2. She brings the benefit of her 20 years of experience inspired by the  Reggio of cooperation and leadership within Emilia approach to the companies. full team. She took part in the She organized and took part in the 2 International Seminar at Reggio Swiss Study groups to Reggio Emilia in Emilia in 2013 and in both Swiss 2016 and 2017.
Study groups organised by Marion is French.
She is the main speaker in our Reggio Emilia presentation and training events. Clare is English and Swiss. Elizabeth BIONDO Teacher and Child Education specialist.

Co-Head Teacher, School Teacher & Pedagogista

Elizabeth, Co-Head Teacher/Manager, Teacher and Pedagogista joined l’écoline in 2013, after having worked for 2 years in a school inspired by Reggio Emilia in New
York. Passionate about this child education approach, she took part in the annual meeting of NAREA in
Pittsburgh in 2015, then in our Swiss study group to Reggio Emilia in 2016. She has been Head of the
Preschool, and of the English Club since 2013. She is also a Jacobs Foundation Fellow : https://jacobsfoundation.org and started the CAS: “Economics and Pedagogy of early childhood education” : https://www.unige.ch/formcont/cours/cas-economics-and-pedagogy-of-early-childhood-education-2018 (2018-2019).

Angeline CODURI-COLLINS

Co-Head Teacher, Educator & Atelierista

Angeline, Co-Head Teacher/Manager, Educator and Atelierista joined l’écoline in 2012. She trained in psychology and has been working with young children for around 10 years. She offers Nature workshops (thanks to her training in education on the environment by Nature – SILVIVA) and Education in peace to the children in School and Preschool. She took part in the Swiss Study group at Reggio in 2016.

School Teacher

Laurence joined l’écoline in 2014, first to offer some Scientific workshops to children. She then did the Teacher formation at HEP and became one of our 2 School teachers in 2016. Being first trained (postgrade) as a Scientist , she still propose scientific workshops and experiements to children at l’écoline. She participated to our Swiss study group to Reggio Emilia in 2016.

Alizée joined l’écoline in 2014 as a socio-educational assistant. She then completed her training to become an Educator (Bachelor in Social Work, option Education). We were delighted to meet him again in September 2017. She will participate in the next Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019.

Ana Luzia PARREIRA CAVACO

Ana Luzia PARREIRA CAVACO

Educator

Ana joined l’écoline in 2018. She holds a Master of Arts in Theater from Portugal and an Early Years Practitioner Degree from UK Open University.

Ana discovered her passion for teaching and for working with young children
after her experience as an actress and facilitator in a theater Company for children.
Since 2008 she has been developing her work as an early years educator in international
schools, in different parts of the world : Asia, North America and Europe. She will participate in the next Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019.

Mélanie HAYASHI

Mélanie HAYASHI

Educator

Mélanie has worked for more than 10 years at the Centre Vaudois
d’aide à la jeunesse (CVAJ) in Lausanne. She discovered Reggio Emilia approach in 2015 in Sweden and participated to many conferences and trainings about the approach since then. She will participate in the next Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019.

Atelierista

Marie-Elodie joined l’écoline in 2015 as a Dance Atelierista. Then she increased her role with time spent as an Assistant. She presents the Dance and Movement workshops, as well as Yoga Workshops for School and Preschool children and the families. She took part in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2017.

Atelierista

Anne-Marie a rejoint l’écoline en 2016. Illustratrice, elle anime également depuis 2015 des ateliers créatifs aux enfants dans son atelier à Lausanne. A l’écoline, elle est notre Atelierista d’arts visuels et inspire et contribue à de nombreux projets avec les School et les Preschool. Elle a participé au Swiss Study group à Reggio en 2017.

Mathilde CONSTANTIN

Mathilde CONSTANTIN

Apprentice

Mathilde joined l’écoline in 2015 as a trainee and began her training as an apprentice in the 2016 school year. She works as part of her sandwich course with the School and Preschool children. Since the 2018 school year she has the status of a Classroom Assistant. She took part in the Swiss study group at Reggio in 2016.

Jacqueline DIAH-CHATELAIN

Housekeeper

Jacqueline has been with l’écoline since it was created. She looks after the meals and the cleaning of l’écoline.

Karim DIAH

Caretaker

Karim DIAH Caretaker Karim looks after the cleaning and the many small (and big) caretaking jobs at l’écoline.

Our team is completed with the external people who run some of our workshops, as well as amazing
trainees and substitute teachers!
