Doctor in Geopolitics, Marion left the diplomacy and International cooperation sector to create the school which she dreamed of for her children.
Since 2012 she has been passionate about child education and innovative organizations. L’écoline obtains the B-corp label in 2019.
Marion organised and participated in the Swiss Study Groups in Reggio Emilia in 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2020.
In 2020, Marion attended the “Creating Cultures of Thinking” course at Project Zero, Harvard.
Elizabeth, Co-Head Teacher/Manager, Teacher and Pedagogista joined l’écoline in 2013, after having worked for 2 years in a school inspired by Reggio Emilia in New
York. Passionate about this child educational approach, she took part in the annual meeting of NAREA in
Pittsburgh in 2015, then in our Swiss study group to Reggio Emilia in 2016. She is co-head of the
School group, and of the English Club since 2013. She is also a Jacobs Foundation Fellow : https://jacobsfoundation.org and completed the CAS: “Economics and Pedagogy of early childhood education”.
In 2020, she participated in the “Creating Cultures of Thinking” training at Project Zero, Harvard.
Elizabeth is an English-speaking American national.
Angeline, Co-Head Teacher/Manager, Educator and Atelierista joined l’écoline in 2012. She trained in psychology and has been working with young children for around 15 years. She offers Nature workshops (thanks to her training in education on the environment by Nature – SILVIVA) and coordinates the Eco-Schools programme.
Angeline participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2016. She started her CAS in 2020 in team management and project management.
Laurence is co-head of the School group. She first joined l’écoline in 2014 to offer some Scientific workshops to children. She then completed her Teacher graduation at HEP and became one of our 2 School teachers in 2016. Being first trained (postgrade) as a Scientist , she still proposes scientific workshops and experiments to children at l’écoline.
She participated to our Swiss study group to Reggio Emilia in 2017.
Alizée is co-head of preschool group. joined l’écoline in 2014 as a socio-educational assistant. She then completed her training to become an Educator (Bachelor in Social Work, option Education). We were delighted to meet him again in September 2017.
She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019.
Ana is co-head of the preschool group, english speaking and joined l’écoline in 2018. She holds a Master of Arts in Theater from Portugal and an Early Years Practitioner Degree from UK Open University.
Ana discovered her passion for teaching and for working with young children
after her experience as an actress and facilitator in a theater Company for children.
Since 2008 she has been developing her work as an early years educator in international
schools, in different parts of the world : Asia, North America and Europe. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019.
Mélanie is co-head of the preschool group and has worked for more than 10 years at the Centre Vaudois
d’aide à la jeunesse (CVAJ) in Lausanne. She discovered Reggio Emilia approach in 2015 in Sweden and participated to many conferences and trainings about the approach since then. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019.
Mathilde is responsible for the afternoons in the School group. She joined l’écoline in 2015 as a trainee and then as Apprentice until 2019 when she qualified. She works both with School and Preschool children. She took part in the Swiss study group at Reggio in 2016.
Valentina joined l’ecoline in 2020. A naturopath by training, she accompanies children and families in the wilderness from the age of 5. She animates the holiday camps in Taney for the 8-12 year olds as well as storytelling and nature afternoons at l’ecoline.
Mélanie joined l’ecoline in 2019 and is charge of the school group on Wednesdays, and she is present as well on Thursday and Friday afternoons. She is completing her educator training on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Léa began her internship in 2018 at l’ecoline, and her apprenticeship in 2020. She is with the preschool group on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Tess joined l’ecoline in 2018 as part of her studies as an early years educator at the Centre Professionnel du Nord Vaudois. She is present 3 days a week with the preschool section.
Anne-Marie joined l’ecoline in 2016. As an illustrator, she has also been leading creative workshops for children in her studio in Lausanne since 2015. At l’écoline, she is our Visual Arts Atelierista and inspires and contributes to many projects with Schools and Preschools. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2017.

Marie-Elodie joined l’écoline in 2015 as a Dance Atelierista. Then she increased her role with time spent as an Assistant. She presents the Dance and Movement workshops, as well as Yoga Workshops for School and Preschool children and the families. She took part in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2017.
Aurélie, co-creator of l’ecoline, became a life coach for children after spending 10 years at the UN in public health. Trained as a psychologist and adult educator, she has always been passionate about human behavior, education and personal development.
Aurélie accompanies children from the age of 5 by helping them discover their “super powers”, building their self-confidence, emotional intelligence and ability to make the right choices.
She leads workshops for children and families as well as parenting workshops.
Caroline joined l’ecoline in 2016 as an administrative assistant. She works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Jelissa created The Village Coworking in 2017. In February 2019, The Village Coworking and l’ecoline teamed up to create the first coworking space directly implanted in a daycare school: l’ecolines’ Village. Within this framework, she organizes activities for parents and families (conferences, yoga classes…) and develops relationships with other partners.
Jacqueline joined l’ecoline from the beginning. She takes care of the meals and the cleaning at l’ecoline.
