Meet Our Team

Our team is complemented with external people who run some of our workshops, as well as amazing trainees and substitute teachers!

Doctor in Geopolitics, Marion left the diplomacy and International cooperation sector to create the school which she dreamed of for her children. Since 2012 she has been passionate about child education and innovative organizations. L’écoline obtains the B-corp label in 2019. Marion organized and participated in the Swiss Study Groups in Reggio Emilia each year since 2016. In 2020, Marion attended the “Creating Cultures of Thinking” course at Project Zero, Harvard. She is the main representative of l’écoline.

Elizabeth is our Pedagogical Director for the School section, Pedagogista and native English speaking teacher. She joined l’écoline in 2013, after having worked for 2 years in a school inspired by Reggio Emilia in New York. Passionate about this child educational approach, she took part in the annual meeting of NAREA in Pittsburgh in 2015, then in our Swiss study trips to Reggio Emilia in 2016, 2018, 2021 and 2023. She is co-teacher of the School group, and has lead English Club and Wonder Lab workshops for several years. She is also a Jacobs Foundation Fellow and completed the CAS “Economics and Pedagogy of early childhood education”. In 2020, she participated in the “Creating Cultures of Thinking” training at Project Zero, Harvard. Since 2018, Elizabeth is our main speaker for professional development at l’écoline as a Reggio inspired school.

Delphine is our Pedagogical Director of the Parascolaire section (Pavillon). She joined l’écoline in 2023. She is also a specialist in Neuropedagogy for our 3 sections. She has been in a Management position for 10 years and works as an Educator since 2003. She holds a CAS in « Gestion d’équipe et conduite de projet » and a CAS in « Formatrice à la pratique professionnelle ». She participated to the Study trip to Reggio Emilia in Fall 2023.

Alizée is our Pedagogical Director for the Preschool section. She joined l’écoline in 2014 as a socio-educational assistant. She then completed her training to become an Educator (Bachelor in Social Work, option Education). We were delighted to have her again in September 2017. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019 and 2022. She finished her CAS in team management and project management in 2023 and started a CAS in Adults Training that same year. She participated in the training “Signons ensemble” in 2024. Alizée is also fond of animals and an active member of the Association Mirabelle & Balcon running the educational farm in St-Sulpice.

Laurence is co-head of the School group. She first joined l’écoline in 2014 to offer some Scientific workshops to children. She then completed her Teacher graduation at HEP and became one of our 2 School teachers in 2016. Being first trained (postgrade) as a Scientist, she still proposes scientific workshops and experiments to children at l’écoline. She participated to our Swiss study group to Reggio Emilia in 2017 and in 2023. In 2020, she participated in the “Creating Cultures of Thinking” training at Project Zero, Harvard.

Dariya is from Estonia and previously worked in English speaking kindergarten and as middle school mathematics teacher. Dariya has a master degree in education as primary school teacher and middle school mathematics teacher. Dariya joined l’ecoline in 2023 first as replacement and assistant. She now works with the school children on Monday afternoons (for the English club too) and during lunches, with Preschool children on Wednesdays and with the parascholar section on Thursdays. Dairya speaks English, Estonian, Russian and a little French. She participated in the training “Signons ensemble” in 2024.

Mélanie joined l’écoline in 2018 and has been one of our main educators since then, first within School group and now within Preschool group. She’s in charge of the organization of EPFL holiday clubs. She has worked for more than 10 years at the Centre Vaudois d’aide à la jeunesse (CVAJ) in Lausanne. She discovered the Reggio Emilia approach in 2015 in Sweden and participated to many conferences and trainings about the approach since then. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2019 and 2021. From September 2023, she’s getting back to studies at ESEDE while being with our Preschool group 2 days a week. Mélanie participated in the training “Signons ensemble” in 2024.

Elisabeth joined l’ecoline in 2021 and works as an Educator in the Preschool group. She participated in the 5th swiss study trip to Reggio Emilia in 2021. Elisabeth went back to studies at ESEDE from August 2023 while being a Preschool educator at l’écoline three days a week.

Patrizia joined l’écoline first as a subsitute in 2022, and as an Educator in our Preschool section from August 2023. She participated to our Study trip in Reggio Emilia in 2022. She trained as an Early Years teacher in Venezuela and has worked both as an Educator and Yoga teacher for years in Switzerland. Patrizia participated in the training “Signons ensemble” in 2024.

Leila joined l’écoline, first as a substitute, then as Educator in charge of Preschool 1 group from August 2023. She participated in the Study trip to Reggio Emilia in 2022 and to the training “Signons ensemble” in 2024.

Arianna made her debut at l’ecoline as a replacement at the end of 2022 and has been looking after the Schools’ meals and quiet time since 2023. Originally from Italy, but living in Switzerland for the past 4 years, Arianna worked for several years with a family of three children who practice home schooling. She accompanied the children as they discovered and learned, developing her skills in education in a caring environment.

Camille, joined the team in 2023. Camille trained at the psychomotricity training institution of Bordeaux in 2016 and has worked with children in different countries before arriving in Switzerland in 2018. She offers psychomotricity workshops to children as well as observation and supervision time for l’écoline’s team. More information about psychomotricity though the link:

Marie-Elodie joined l’écoline in 2015 as a Dance atelierista. Then she expanded her role with hours as an Assistant. She leads Dance and Movement workshops, as well as Yoga workshops with School, Preschool and families. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2017.

Anne-Marie joined l’ecoline in 2016. As an illustrator, she has also been leading creative workshops for children in her studio in Lausanne since 2015. At l’écoline, she is our Visual Arts Atelierista and inspires and contributes to many projects with Schools and Preschools. She participated in the Swiss Study group in Reggio in 2017. Valentina joined l’ecoline in 2020 and is our Nature Atelierista for School group. Trained in naturopathy, she accompanies children and families in nature from the age of 5. She participates and organizes holiday camps in Taney for the 8-12 year olds as well as storytelling and nature afternoons at l’ecoline. She has her own studio:

Mathilde is responsible for the school group on Wednesdays and does visual arts ateliers with preschool children on Mondays. She joined l’écoline in 2015 as a trainee and then as Apprentice until 2019 when she qualified. She works both with School and Preschool children. She took part in the Swiss study group at Reggio in 2016. Mathilde participated in the training “Signons ensemble” in 2024.

Delphine joined l’écoline as an assistant in 2020. She worked with the School group and is now part of the paraschool group at the Pavillon. She will participate in the French Study Group in Reggio Emilia in October 2024.

Valérie joined l’écoline in 2020 as a trainee after a career in Human resources. While trainnig at ESEDE she is now a main Educator in our Parascolaire section. She participated to our Study trip to Reggio Emilia in 2023.

Titiana joined l’ecoline in 2022 in the paraschool group at the Pavillon.

Tiffany joined l’ecoline in 2019. She worked in the school group from lunch time. As from 2023 after obtaining her diploma as an administrative assistant, she coordinates and supports administrative duties. Tiffany is also an animal caretaker.

Jelissa created The Village Coworking in 2017. In February 2019, The Village Coworking and l’ecoline teamed up to create the first coworking space directly implanted in a daycare school: l’ecolines’ Village. She coordinates the Eco-Schools programme since 2022 and is now in charge of l’écoline’s communication and community manager. She organizes activities for parents and families (conferences, yoga classes…) and is in charge of weekly newsletter. She participated in the 2020 Swiss Study Group in Reggio Emilia. Since 2022, she works mainly remotely from Amsterdam. In 2023, she completed l’écoline’s B Corp recertification.

Izabela is a psychopedagogue and trained in cognitive sciences, Montessori pedagogy, the practice of philosophy workshops and graphotherapy. She is passionate about others, human links and language. She accompanies children, parents and educational teams towards a better understanding of their mutual needs and individual and collective well-being. She participated in the 2020 Swiss Study Group in Reggio Emilia.

An occupational psychologist and human resources expert in the fields of organisational and personal development, stress management and communication. Lisa is an active member of the Swiss Federation of Psychologists (FSP).
She has been working with l’ecoline since 2022, mainly to train our team in Process Communication. She also provides individual coaching to our staff on an ad hoc basis.

She works as a school psychologist and currently follows a postgraduate study program to become a certified cognitive behavioral psychotherapist for children, adolescents and young adults.

Aurélie, who gave birth to the idea of l’écoline along with Marion in 2012, became a life coach for children after spending 10 years at the UN in public health. Trained as a psychologist and adult educator, she has always been passionate about human behavior, education and personal development. Aurélie accompanies children from the age of 5 by helping them discover their “super powers”, building their self-confidence, emotional intelligence and ability to make the right choices. She leads workshops for children and families as well as parenting workshops.

Zsófia embarked on her career in the financial sector with Morgan Stanley in Hungary. She achieved dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management in 2013 and Tourism-Event Management in 2011. Seeking adventure, she ventured to England with her partner, working at GSK while exploring the country in her free time. Following the birth of her two children, she returned to Hungary to fulfill her long-held ambition of becoming a group fitness instructor, complemented by spinal prevention training in 2018 and child anatomy coursework in 2022. Zsófia subsequently relocated to Lausanne, Switzerland in 2017 where she has been happily living ever since. Currently, she’s immersed in French language studies at the University of Lausanne, juggling family life with her artistic passions.

Jacqueline is our home fairy. She joined l’ecoline from the beginning. She takes care of the meals and the cleaning in both school and preschool groups.

Karim takes care of the cleaning and the many small (and large) janitorial jobs at l’écoline

Yeimis takes care of the cleaning every week-end at l'écoline and during our special events.
