L’écoline is the 1st Reggio Emilia inspired school in Switzerland founded in 2012.

We welcome children in our Preschool section, School section and Parascolaire section.

We also share our experience as a Reggio Emilia inspired school  with other professionals and students.

We’re happy to partner with EPFL for holiday clubs on the EPFL campus.

As a B Corp company, we thrive to do our best to have a positive impact socially and on the planet.

1st meeting Reggio Emilia at l'écoline and the 11th NAREA Conference
L'écoline organizes a 1st meeting of artists and childcare professionals inspired by Reggio Emilia approach (35 participants). Elizabeth participates in the 11th NAREA Conference (North American Reggio Emilia Association) in Pittsburgh/USA).

Partnership with EPFL
We launch a partnership with EPFL, organizing Summer Camps for 7-12 year olds on the EPFL campus, 3 weeks a year.

The dream expands!
We double enrollments for the School section: l'écoline expands its territory with the 2nd floor premises and 50 children welcomed.

1st Partnership with Reggio
L'écoline organizes, in partnership with the International Center Reggio Children, the 1st Study Tour to Reggio Emilia, for its team and 25 professionals from French-speaking part of Switzerland.

The dream deepens!
1st 2-day retreat on the theme of Identity for l'écoline team. We define l'écoline's WHY and our main values and principles.

Strengthening of Reggio links
L'écoline organizes the 2nd Study Tour to Reggio Emilia, and its 1st Professional sessions at l'écoline: 1 session for a private school, 1 session with 20 FACEME professionals, 1 public session with about 20 teachers and educators from the area.

3 professional mornings and the Eco-Schools Label
3 professional sessions are organized, with more than 80 participants (including 1 private morning for the Riviera School). L'écoline receives the Eco-Schools Label!

Pedagogical Farm
In collaboration with the Association Mirabelle & Balcon, l'écoline volunteers for maintaining and supporting the pedagogical farm located in St Sulpice. Children visit the farm weekly from then.

L'écoline offers a new after-school care service in partnership with St-Sulpice: 12 spots in 2020, 24 spots in 2021 within a new facility next to the public school.
